Our very own Beltran's Grill mixologist and bar manager, Mike Fetrow, teaches us how to make a sparkly Valentine's Day drink at home for that special someone.

Equipment:

  • Shaker Tin
  • 2 Tall Collins Glasses
  • 2 Saucer-style plates (or a Rimmer Dish)
  • Jigger

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • Blanco Tequila
  • Pomegranate Juice
  • Lime Juice
  • Agave Syrup
  • Edible Glitter
  • Rock Salt
  • Lemon-Lime Soda
  • Valentine’s Day Candy of Choice

Directions:

  1. Fill your shaker tin halfway with ice.

  2. Add the following ingredients:

    • 1.5 oz Blanco tequila

    • 1.5 oz pomegranate juice

    • 1 oz lime juice

    • 0.5 oz agave syrup

    • 3 shakes edible glitter

  3. Place the lid on the shaker and shake until the tin is cold.

  4. Prepare your empty glass with a rock salt rim by pouring lime juice in one saucer and rock salt in the other.

  5. Twirl the glass rim in juice and then immediately in rock salt.

  6. Pour the entire contents from your shaker tin into your rimmed Collins glass.
  7. Top with lemon-lime soda.

  8. Garnish with Valentine’s Day candy.

  9. Rinse and repeat!
