A Short History
Exomind was created by scientists at BTL, a Prague-based company that is a world-leader in aesthetics. The company has over 200 patents and 500 in-house engineers who use medical technology and science to create advanced medical treatments.
“Older versions of TMS required the patient to wear a large, heavy magnetic helmet for multiple hours-long sessions for about 30 days in a row, which was not convenient (or enjoyable) for patients,” she noted.
Extensive studies of the technology were conducted in the U.S. and Canada to prompt FDA approval for treatment of depression. It was also approved by Health Canada for treating anxiety, OCD and excessive eating disorders.
