Previewing The People's Open

WMPO: All the Deets for 2024

What's NEW for 2024

The DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale is a 13,000-square-foot sports lounge with 32 digital betting kiosks, six ticket windows, 3,400 square feet of video screens and an indoor-outdoor bar. Tickets required.

Lucky enough to get a seat at the loudest hole in golf? 2024 gets even better. All beer and hard seltzer purchases come with a free, commemorative cup courtesy of the WM Phoenix Open.

Fans at the “Greatest Show on Grass” can now bring in refillable water containers (32oz or less and no glass) and fill them at designated water stations at the Talking Stick Resort Fan Zone. Remember, containers must be empty before you enter and when you leave the grounds. You know why.

There’s only one place where fans of “The People’s Open” can score official gear – the WM Phoenix Open merchandise tent. And this year, that tent will be five times bigger. Score anything and everything WM Phoenix Open. The new merchandise tent is adjacent to the revamped Talking Stick Resort Fan Zone.

Pairings guides are going full digital this year. If you need to know when your favorite PGA TOUR stars, celebrities or Hall-of-Fame athletes tee off at the WM Phoenix Open, download the PGA TOUR app.

There will also be a new small hospitality venue on the 9th hole called "Nine."

Know Before You Go

Arrive early, carpool and ride-share (there are drop-off points near the main tournament entrance). There is free parking, but it fills fast.

The only place to score an autograph from your favorite players or celebrities playing in the Annexus Pro-Am is in designated autograph zones located near the Driving Range and the cart pad near the Clubhouse.

Ages 15 and younger are free into tournament but only those 3 years and younger are permitted into the hospitality venues without a credential.

Wear green for Saturday’s #GREENOUT. For every fan, volunteer, service animal and – even players and caddies – who wear green, The Thunderbirds and title sponsor WM will donate money to deserving non-profit organizations with a sustainability focus.

Gates open at 7am of tournament week. It's suggested you get in line a bit earlier, especially on Friday and Saturday.

Concert in the Coliseum

The Thunderbirds are excited to once again host the annual Concert in the Coliseum on the famous 16th hole. On Saturday, February 3rd, GRAMMY® Award-nominated and eight-time diamond-certified global superstar Post Malone will take center stage live from TPC Scottsdale presented by Swire Coca-Cola.

Fans will enter through the main WM Phoenix Open entrance and enjoy an engaging experience on the walk to 16 featuring entertainment, drink sampling and fun activations. Gate opening time will be late afternoon (likely 3:30pm).

The Coors Light Birds Nest

Kick it up a notch after the WM Phoenix Open at the infamous Coors Light Birds Nest. Food, drinks, games and entertainment begin at The Pavilions when gates open at 3pm.

The Nest is a 21-and-over event, located directly across from the main entrance of the WM Phoenix Open at 82nd St and Bell Rd. Check the website for items you should leave at home. coorslightbirdsnest.com

Schedule:

Wednesday, February 7th: HARDY & BAILEY ZIMMERMAN

Thursday, February 8th: DIERKS BENTLEY

Friday, February 9th: DURAN DURAN

The Thunderbirds Give Back

100% of proceeds from the tournament go back to the community and benefit Arizona charities. In 2023, the tournament raised $14.5 million. In 88 years, The Thunderbirds have raised more than $190 million. wmphoenixopen.com

Dubbed "The Greatest Show on Grass" and "The People's Open," 2024's Waste Management Phoenix Open is sure to be the hottest multi-day event on the green yet. Dates are February 5th-11th, but the party starts February 3rd with the Concert in the Coliseum.
