Prioritize Wellness In 2023

An Inside Look At Arete Wellness

It’s 2023, and a new year also poses an opportunity to set new goals. From setting a resolution to hit a fitness goal or taking steps toward prioritizing overall health, there are plenty of tools available to place an increased priority on self-care this year.

Whether battling a longstanding injury, fighting a pesky cold that just keeps coming back or feeling extra sluggish during the winter months, it can be difficult to both identify a problem and know where to turn for relief. Situated in a comfortable clinic in Green Hills, Arete Wellness is a great place to start -- where the team at 2210 Crestmoor Road, Suite 4, states they stand behind the mantra of "excellence redefined."

With an expert clinical staff onsite, including three full-time nurses and approximately 20 part-time nurses, the team at Arete Wellness says they are ready to help individuals reach their goals, whether that means healing an injury, boosting immunity or looking for an overall well-being overhaul.

“If someone has an injury or ailment or is looking to better themselves, boost their immunity, or have more energy, we have something for everything,” says registered nurse Meghan McPherson, RN-BSN. “At Arete, we prioritize overall health and wellness. When people come in, we can discuss what their health goals are and work with them on some different ways to reach those goals.”

Modern techniques and traditional therapies combine across Arete’s full suite of service offerings, which include a variety of infusions, injections, wellness treatments, lab services and even healthy bites, juices and kombucha available to purchase on-site.

Known for boosting hydration, Meghan says IV infusions and injections are available to tailor to each patient’s unique goals, and can be administered in the clinic or even in-home. Other infusions and injectables are available, such as a vitamin C treatment for an immunity boost, or a B12 injection for an extra dose of energy.

As singer/songwriter Sam Hunter attests:  "Arete stays on the front end of the progress [of the health and wellness world]. I’ve been burning the candle at both ends for several years now and their treatments help me get my mind and body back on track when I’ve worn myself down."

For an expanded focus on self-care, Arete offers a broad range of wellness treatments each targeting a different goal. Book a cryotherapy chamber, which exposes the body to cold temperatures for a short time, proven by industry sources to aid in recovery, help with inflammation and reduce pain. Despite its short duration, cryotherapy can burn 600 to 800 calories per session. Or, visit an infrared sauna to help rid the body of excess toxins. Hyperbaric chambers are also offered, used for a variety of ailments from ankle injuries to traumatic brain injuries.

Additionally, lab services, such as COVID-19 antigen and antibody testing, can be performed on-site, as well as food sensitivity, allergen and micronutrient testing to uncover problems that may begin with gut health.

“It’s really rewarding to see a company that wants to truly work to heal someone from the inside out,” Meghan shares. “I think there is something really special about finding more natural ways to help someone reach their health goals.”

Many people make whole-body wellness the ultimate resolution for 2023. Whether booking an appointment or simply walking in, the team of experts at Arete confirm they stand ready to help formulate a plan to prioritize wellness this year – from professional athletes to professional moms and everyone in between.

Multi-level memberships are available, or services can be purchased a-la-carte. Plus, discounts are offered for new clients. The clinic is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are required.

“Wellness is within reach for everybody, and that’s something that we pride ourselves on being able to offer,” says Meghan.
