As Promotion Physical Therapy rounds out its 17th year as a leader in the industry, they continue to focus on the highest quality of care in a positive, encouraging, environment. With the most recent addition of their Boerne clinic, they now serve patients from five locations in San Antonio and surrounding areas.

Dr. Ashley Medrano, the Clinical Director for the Boerne location has been treating patients for almost a decade in South Texas outpatient orthopedics and has a passion for sports rehabilitation. A former collegiate athlete herself, Dr. Medrano holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, is a Fellow of the Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy and is certified in dry needling.

Most of Promotion’s Physical Therapists hold the FAAOMPT designation, which makes Promotion a leader in exceptional athletic care, training, and results. “We love athletes, says Dr. Martindale, and we treat them all - from middle school to high school, college, and even the pros - we are experts when it comes to their specific needs.” Not only do the therapists treat sports injuries, but they also work with athletes to prevent them.

At the time, soccer high school athlete, Samantha Maudsley, underwent surgery for two ACL knee injuries. After surgery, Samantha’s primary physical therapy team consisted of Dr. Justin Martindale and Dr. Ashley Mendrano. “They are both, along with their staff, very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their techniques are designed to promote my recovery and truly made me stronger and better than ever. I feel I definitely owe them a debt of gratitude for their perseverance in never letting up on the goals I set for myself to return to soccer without limitations.” Maudsley has since played as an International Women’s soccer player and will currently be starting her junior year this Fall at The University of Louisiana/Monroe as part of the women’s soccer team as a ten-player midfield position.

In addition, Promotion Physical Therapy treats everyday occurrences like strains, sprains, and shoulder pain, as well as physical therapy for pre and post-operative conditions, including ACL reconstruction surgery, rotator cuff, labral repair surgery, and many others. Additional services include; Manual Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, TMJ treatment, Vestibular Therapy, Concussion Rehabilitation, and Dry Needling.

Since 2005, when Promotion Physical Therapy first opened its doors, they have been on a mission to provide a better quality of life for San Antonio patients suffering physical pain and discomfort.  “As we began to see more and more patients driving into San Antonio to receive the care we knew it was time to expand our services into Boerne and to collaborate with medical providers in that area," explains Dr. Justin Martindale, President, and Chief Medical Officer. Visit www.promotionpt-sa.com for more information or call (830) 331-1114.
