Some of my favorite memories have happened in our kitchen. With four daughters, a loving husband and a house that rarely feels quiet, there has always been something happening around the dinner table. Cooking together has given us more than just a meal it has given us time to slow down, laugh, talk about our days and simply be together. Over the years, our kitchen has seen everything from carefully planned family dinners to last minute meals, holiday baking and recipes that have become traditions of their own. There is something about preparing food together that makes even the simplest meal feel a little more special. As a family, we’ve learned that the best part of gathering around a table isn’t always what’s on the plate. It’s the people sitting beside you, the conversations that happen between bites and the memories that stay with you long after the dishes are done. This month, we’re celebrating the food and drinks that bring our community together. I hope these pages inspire you to try something new, revisit an old favorite or, most importantly, gather around the table with the people you love. Here’s to full plates, happy kitchens and the people who make every meal worth sharing.
