Bank of Colorado was born from a community in need, and as one of the oldest banks in the state, Bank of Colorado is known for their strength, stability, service, and values. Founding brothers, George and Tom Dinsdale, saw that their small town in Nebraska needed a bank that put community first. Despite being farmers by trade, they opened their first family-owned bank in 1938 during the Great Depression. As that community grew, so did their ability to serve their customers.
In 1978, Dinsdale's expanded their community banks into Colorado. As a family-owned business, their values of honesty, integrity, and clarity still guide their every decision. And while banking has changed a lot over the years, they’re still cut from the same cloth as their founders. They are deeply rooted in Colorado’s history and fully invested in its future.
