While Jake Hoot may be best known for winning The Voice and launching a successful country music career, his heart for service—shared deeply with his wife, Brittney—is just as powerful as his voice. Together, the Hoots are raising their family with a strong foundation of faith, love, and global compassion through The Radiant Initiative, a nonprofit founded by Brittney in 2020.
The mission? To bring light to dark places—both literally and spiritually—by organizing outreach efforts that include international missions, women’s empowerment programs, and local community support.
“The Lord actually brought us back together through missions work,” Brittany and Jake share, “And now, it’s something we’re deeply committed to as a family. We want our girls to grow up understanding the importance of serving others and living with purpose.”
From medical clinics and educational outreach to spiritual development and family support, The Radiant Initiative is focused on building lasting impact wherever there is need. The nonprofit has grown rapidly over the last few years, and the Hoots are excited for what lies ahead.
Their next international mission trip is planned for March 2026, and the couple encourages anyone interested to prayerfully consider getting involved. “You don’t have to be a preacher or a doctor to make a difference,” they say, “You just have to show up with love and a willing heart.”

“Music gave me purpose, but missions gave me perspective. We’re raising our girls to serve, to love, and to shine their light—whether it’s on a stage or across the world.” – Jake Hoot
