Conveniently located next to the Reliant Children Therapy Center in Cypress, Reliant ABA Therapy focuses on the treatment and counseling of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral and emotional challenges. Through the use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), one of the most effective treatments for ASD, the clinic’s team works with children and their families to address issues related to communication, behavior, and emotional well-being.
Husband-and-wife duo Olendu Okorafor, OTR, and Chizo Okorafor, OTD, OTR, founded the first Reliant Therapy clinic in 2011. Driven by a passion to make quality therapy more accessible to the community, they opened Reliant as a small clinic that provided pediatric occupational, speech, and physical therapy services.
Since then, the company has grown to include additional programs and facilities, including a new 25,000-square-foot building with an on-site therapy pool at their Katy location. “The idea for Reliant was born out of their recognition of a significant gap in access to therapy services within the community,” Mills said. “At the time, there were few therapy providers available, and many families faced waitlists exceeding a year.”
