Summer Sippin’ 2024 has ended and time to announce the winners of the ‘Best Sip in Roswell’. This year’s winner - alcoholic beverage category is From the Earth Brewing Company with Peachy Lady, and - non-alcoholic drink category is Whit’s Frozen Custard with Whit’s Watermelon Whip.
From June 18 – August 13th, 50 participating locations competed. Restaurants, coffee shops, breweries and tasting rooms all created a new specialty drink for Summer Sippin’, all promoting their Summer Sippin’ drink and encouraging voting.
Tim Stevens, Owner- From the Earth Brewing Company commented, “Summer Sippin’ is something my team looks forward to every year! The bar team meets, plans what we would like to offer. We do several tastings to make sure the cocktail is perfect! Then we look forward to seeing new guests walk in to check out the drink. We can’t thank Roswell Inc and Visit Roswell enough as this has increased our guest count over slow summer periods. We can’t wait to do it again next year!”
Libby Zappala, Owner of Whit’s of Roswell says, “We'd like to extend a great big THANK YOU to Roswell, Inc and Visit Roswell for including us in Summer Sippin'! We may be a tad bit competitive and we definitely like to have a good time! Our custard crew had an absolute blast participating and our customer engagement was phenomenal. We tweaked our drink recipe until it screamed of summer. It was the fresh watermelon puree that made it a winner!”
