Relax, Renew—And Celebrate the Holidays

The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North is a Valley Gem

Set on the site of the former Crescent Moon Ranch, on the northern portion of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and adjacent to Pinnacle Peak Park, sits the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.

Designed with colors inspired by the Sonoran Desert in full bloom and to blend into nature’s beauty, this Five-Diamond resort is the perfect escape for relaxation, good food, good drinks, and stunning views of the Valley.

The Resort

The casita rooms are all nestled amid the stunning desert and are designed to wrap you in luxurious comfort and style. The Spa is ready with pampering treatments (tip: Try the Four Seasons in One or the Pinnacle Facial). A bi-level heated pool beckons for lazy floating, and the Onyx Bar & Lounge offers patio seating where you can sip a drink as you look out over the Valley.

Of course, there is plenty to do for those who prefer to be more active. Tennis and pickleball courts are available; there’s a fitness facility with offerings such as Yoga-Ritas and Candlelight Yoga; hiking trails begin on-property; and there are golf privileges at Troon North, which is just a quick five-minute drive away.

Food and Beverage

Of course, you don’t have to stay at the resort to take advantage of its impressive culinary and beverage offerings. There are four on-site dining locales. Proof, An American canteen, offers a selection of American comfort classics; Talavera is a modern Spanish steakhouse where the stunning views through the soaring windows rival the creative Latin-inspired menu creations; Saguaro Blossom is the poolside eatery; and Onyx Bar & Lounge, features small plates, unique entrees, and wines by the glass.

The Holidays

While the Four Seasons is a perfect getaway whether for a meal or a staycation no matter the time of year, during the holidays there are plenty of festive options to help you celebrate the season in style.

THANKSGIVING MEALS: For Thanksgiving, indulge your taste buds at Talavera with a Thanksgiving brunch buffet from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Or, make a reservation for a three-course holiday dinner there that evening.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA: Breakfast with Santa is offered on both Dec. 10 and 17. Enjoy breakfast favorites, games for the children, and an appearance by Santa.

ELF TUCK-INS: Those staying on the property can get a “tuck-in” from one of Santa’s elves, as well as cookies and an Arizona-themed story.

SPA OFFERING: The Holiday Glow Massage is available throughout December and includes a massage and a glass of sparkling wine.

SEASONAL PROGRAMMING: Get in the holiday spirit with freshly roasted chestnuts, story time with Mrs. Claus, bourbon and chocolate pairings in Proof, live music, eggnog samplings, and dessert wine and holiday cookies throughout the season.

CHRISTMAS EVE/CHRISTMAS DAY: Both Talavera and Proof will feature festive menus, including Talavera’s festive Christmas brunch.

NEW YEAR’S EVE: Ring in 2023 in style with a five-course celebratory meal in Talavera. Two seatings are available, with the later one also including a Veuve Clicquot cascade at midnight. Proof will also feature celebratory menu items and festive décor.

Whether you opt for a visit during the holidays or any other time during the year, this stunning resort offers highly personalized, welcoming service among the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, just a short drive from home.
