Santa Sightings

Where To Find Santa Claus This Christmas

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Now’s the chance to take children to meet that popular man in red, tell him what's wanted for Christmas and even get a photo with him. Nothing screams Christmas quite like Santa himself. He’s checking his list, and he’s checking it twice, so don't miss out on this opportunity. Since Santa can fly around the world in one night, he’ll be at several Tennessee hot spots throughout the month of December.

Here are five locations where St. Nick can be found this holiday season:

Christmas at Gaylord Opryland:

Christmas has arrived at Gaylord Opryland. Come and see this winter wonderland while feeling transported from Tennessee to standing in Santa’s workshop in the North Pole. Enjoy a personal visit with Santa and make sure to purchase tickets in advance as these meet and greets tend to sell out fast. After meeting Father Christmas, make sure to check out the other holiday festivities there are there to offer such as ice tubing, the gingerbread decorating corner, ice skating and more.

Meet Santa anytime there now until Christmas Eve.

Brunch with Santa at Assembly Food Hall:

Enjoy brunch with Kris Kringle at Assembly Food Hall on Dec. 3 and Dec. 17. Don’t worry, there will be more than just milk and cookies served for brunch. Enjoy a cookies and cream crepe from Whisk, or munch on a cinnamon sugar doughnut from Donut Distillery. Or, for a more savory option, try the Whip Di Parma from The Liege Waffle Co.

Once you’ve grabbed brunch and helped yourself to the hot chocolate bar, head over and meet Santa. For anyone feeling too shy to end up meeting the man himself, they also have a letter-writing station so everyone can still tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

Santa Cares At Rivergate Mall:

Experience the magic of Christmas with Santa in a sensory friendly environment this year with Santa Cares at Rivergate Mall. This will take place on Dec. 12 and will not have any bright lights or loud music, making it a peaceful place to talk to Santa as well as take some photos with him. Santa Cares also will feature a bounce house, story time by Katie Sue and Lyttle Fox Therapy. Make sure to reserve a spot though, as this is an event not to miss.

Santa At the Farm with Nash Family Creamery:

On Dec. 9, Santa will be making a pit stop at Nash Family Creamery to make an appearance and enjoy some ice cream. Make sure to reserve a spot before heading there to be able to meet Santa Claus. After telling Santa what's desired for Christmas and taking a photo inside the creamery's viewing area above the milking parlor, guests are welcome to stay and enjoy some ice cream that’s made fresh at the farm. Guests also have the option to add on some photo ops with two of Nash Family Creamery’s calves.

Santa’s Workshop at CoolSprings Galleria:

Santa has arrived at the CoolSprings Galleria. People are encouraged to take part in Ginger-Snapped: the VIP Santa experience that will take place on Dec. 2. This special event will include photos with Santa as well as get one signed up for the gingerbread house contest. The winners of the contest will receive a gift basket full of merchandise and gift cards from some of the CoolSprings Galleria stores. For those not able to make it to Ginger-Snapped, don’t sweat. Santa will be there until Christmas Eve.

Visit Santa through Dec. 15 and receive an entry to the Dear Santa Giveaway, where Santa will send one lucky shopper on a $2,000 shopping spree. Plus, visitors can receive a collectible tree ornament.
