Sarah Victor has a unique and artistic take on female beauty.
Sarah and her staff have worked hard on a culture that downplays the ideals of female perfection.
The owner of Sarah Victor Beauty, a permanent makeup studio and blow dry bar at 476 Naubuc Ave., Sarah wants her clients to feel comfortable in their own skin.

Sarah Victor Beauty is a full-service salon whose staff of six specializes in permanent makeup solutions.
Sarah started Sarah Victor Beauty when she was 16, doing makeup for family and friends. Her experiences led to what she describes as a “whirlwind 20-plus year career” in beauty, including stints at MAC, Allure Magazine, Elle Magazine, and numerous other publications.
Her beauty studio has a long list of services that include permanent makeup options. There are eyebrow lifts and laminations, waxings, lip blush tattooing, eyelash lifts and tinting, makeup lessons, facial peels and microdermabrasion. The studio offers numerous different types of facials, including ones for men and teens, as well as a skin treatment called a vagacial, which is an exfoliating and clarifying treatment done in conjunction with bikini waxing or on it's own for overall skin health.
In addition, the studio offers makeup artistry and bridal beauty services.
The latest addition to the salon is Glastonbury’s first blow dry bar. It’s intended for women who want their hair to look its best but don’t have the time to do it themselves.
“There is absolutely nothing like this on this side of the river,” Sarah says.
Sarah says the salon is probably best known for its eyebrow work.
“We are the best in Connecticut for eyebrows and everybody knows that. People come from all over to have their eyebrows done here.
She and her team do several different types of eyebrow shaping, including nano brows, microblading and powder brows.
Permanent makeup options such as brow shaping have grown in popularity, she says.
“Permanent makeup has always been popular but in the last 5 to 7 years we’ve really seen a huge growth in permanent makeup artistry.”
Her team has a combined 30 years of experience in the beauty industry and Sarah Victor Beauty, Sarah says, is a one-stop shop for just about all your beauty needs.
