At home, Dr. Rashmi Indrakanti can be found doing magic in the kitchen, blending Western dishes with Eastern influence. She goes on walks with her family and furry friends, enjoys playing badminton, and participates in nationwide tournaments with the Women’s Throwball Association. Plus, on top of sponsoring local associations and worship places, she spends time providing dental services to those less fortunate.
Every day, Indrakanti is committed to finding and spreading happiness. This extends into Cedar Park Comfort Dentistry, the practice she took over after seven years of establishing her Round Rock office.
"Smile has no language barrier. I strive to create beautiful smiles for all ages,” says Indrakanti. “My goal is to see my clients leave with good feelings and confidence in their oral care.”
Dentistry was seeded in Indrakanti from her childhood orthodontics treatment. Getting there, though, was a herculean task. She competed with thousands of candidates to secure admission into India’s elite Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences before becoming an associate dentist.
When she later joined her husband in the United States, while pregnant with her first child, Indrakanti worked hard to clear the National Board of Dental Examiners requirement. She then pursued a rigorous DMD program at what is now Rutgers University. The extensive hours put in during her education have since earned her the Colgate-Palmolive Award for Excellence in Periodontics.
“Today, I practice in all aspects of general dentistry,” says Indrakanti. “I have achieved certification in implantology so I can replace a missing tooth and contribute to any smile’s makeover process.”
Through Cedar Park Comfort Dentistry, Indrakanti loves bringing her cosmetic touch to any personalized dental treatment. And with clients who go as far as helping to take care of the office plants, it’s clear that the relationships she fosters go far beyond regular cleanings.
