In the bustling streets of London, 1760 marked the inception of The House of Creed, a family-owned luxury fragrance dynasty that has graced both royal houses and the public for over 250 years. Creed began as a supplier of custom-tailored clothing and scented leather gloves, which were a hallmark of the upper class and royalty during the late 1700s and early 1800s. The perfume house also commissioned fragrances to the English court, but Creed's journey took a significant turn in 1781 when they crafted the first-ever fragrance, Royal English Leather, for King George III and his court.

Fast forward to 1970, when Oliver Creed made their fragrances accessible to the public, and the brand has continued to thrive ever since. Today, The House of Creed stands alone as the sole fragrance house relying on a 4,000-year-old infusion technique to capture the purest essence of natural essential oils. This artisanal process passed down seven generations from father to son, preserves the uniqueness of each scent's ingredients without the need for preservatives.

With a commitment to authenticity, Creed's compositions consist of prestigious and rare essences sourced from around the world, such as Bulgarian, French, Turkish, and Moroccan roses, Indian jasmine, Florentine iris, Indian tuberose, Haitian vetiver, Calabrian bergamot, and Parma violets.

Crafted with care in a small factory near Fontainebleau, France, Creed's fragrances are a labor-intensive endeavor driven by artistry and dedication. The brand's devotion to quality is evident in its meticulous handling of responsibly sourced, pure natural ingredients.

A typical fragrance contains an average of 300 to 800 ingredients and is released to the market each season. Creed fragrances contain only 10 to 20 ingredients, and creating the perfect formula is a meticulous process that takes approximately five years from start to finish, reflecting the brand's dedication to excellence. Each fragrance is carefully aged and undergoes hand-stirring, hand-filtering, and are hand-poured into exquisitely crafted bottles from Groupe Pochet, one of the oldest bottle-making companies in the world.

In their latest addition to the fragrance portfolio, Carmina, The House of Creed draws inspiration from the historical fashion sketchbooks of Henry Creed, which have been passed down through generations. The scent embodies the spirit of bold and passionate women in the sketches – a woman ready to embark on exhilarating adventures.

Carmina's composition captures eclectic sensibility, with hints of black cherry and pink pepper blending gracefully with violet and muted rose. Warm saffron is layered with delicate musks and ambers, while cashmere wood imparts a luxurious woody allure.

Houston's Creed Boutique at The Galleria is now home to the brand's signature scents, inviting fragrance enthusiasts to experience the essence of true luxury. The House of Creed's unwavering commitment to crafting exceptional fragrances resonates with those seeking extraordinary experiences. creedboutique.com
