How can sellers make their homes more desirable to buyers?
The first part of my marketing plan is a personalized brochure I put together and share with sellers called “100 Ways to Prep Your Home to Sell.” Some tips include: If something's broken, fix it. Use the three bin rule to declutter - one to sell/donate, another to keep, and the last to trash. If you can paint it, paint it. Use neutral colors. Benjamin Moore Abalone Gray is my new go-to. People want bright homes, so open your curtains/blinds, add some lamps or change out old light fixtures. Don’t forget about curb appeal either. And, when showings begin, leave the home.
Why is it important to find a good fit when choosing a Realtor?
It comes down to communication and trust. You're going to be spending a lot of time together, so you also want to “click” with your agent. You want someone who’s going to be there when you have questions, or to hold your hand through every step of the process, and advocate for you.

As a former TV exec I approach every listing as a production. There are so many variables that come into play and no two transactions are the same. I'm very honest and transparent with clients. They’re ultimately the boss, and we work together to ensure the best outcome.
