Seven Ways to Sundae

Houston restaurants deliver their take on the famous ice cream sundae.

Kenny & Ziggy's new location has a soda fountain that serves amazing sundaes, milkshakes, and more. The restaurant's menu features several flavors, but there is nothing wrong with a classic. Their classic hot fudge sundae is made with your choice of ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, pecans, and a cherry. 

2. Tony's Trio of Ice Cream Floats 

Tony's offers a trio of treats that provide a refreshing taste of summer. The Sicilian Lemon Float is made with vanilla bean ice cream and Sicilian lemon soda, while the classic Coca-Cola Float features Amarena cherry gelato. The Affogato Float is made with vanilla bean ice cream, a double espresso, and a Dr. Pepper.

While Chef Manabu Horiuchi's savory dishes and sushi service are notably refined and elegant, their Kakigori is a showstopper at the end of a meal. Piled high with shaved ice from Japan, Katami's Kakigori comes in three flavors with a towering assortment of toppings.
