In Gallatin, we are fortunate to have so many businesses that have made it their mission to embrace the role and responsibility of meeting the needs of our area’s most vulnerable populations. One of those local efforts from a local business is Subaru of Gallatin’s Share the Love campaign, which runs from November 17th - January 3rd. During the Share the Love event, customers who purchase a new Subaru will be able to select one of four national charities (Make-a-Wish, National Parks Foundation, Meals on Wheels and ASPCA) to receive a $250 donation, or a local charity to receive a $300 donation on their behalf. This year, Subaru of Gallatin has once again selected the Gallatin Shalom Zone as their hometown charity.
Focusing on local literacy and education, Gallatin Shalom Zone is a local non-profit providing programs and goods to the most distressed and underserved areas of Gallatin and our surrounding region. GSZ operates dozens of enrichment and educational programs with a mission of providing a safe and loving environment where children, youth and families have the resources and a viable pathway out of poverty to reach their full potential of a better future.
Now, into their third year of working so closely together on many local efforts, it’s amazing to see how many lives that have been touched through this partnership of giving. Through this year’s efforts and meaningful work, our community continues to benefit when local individuals and businesses join hands to make sure that the least of these is never forgotten and that a community, our community, is everyone’s responsibility.
