Education is key to successfully improving skin, asserts Adrienne Penning, MSN, FNP-C, founder/owner of Stages Skin Studio in Brentwood. "We provide expert advice and state-of-the art treatments, along with the best home skincare regimens," she adds. “To me, Stages means family. When you walk through our doors, you can’t help but feel part of what we're creating with our boutique medical aesthetics and innovation-focused, wellness practice."
Adrienne says she and her team of skin specialists get to know clients' skin goals through thorough consultations. "Safety is paramount at Stages."
An in-depth medical history is taken, she says, and each person's skin is examined as part of custom-tailored plans, in addition to guidance on what to expect during treatments. "We believe you should feel at ease and pampered when caring for your skin," assures Emily Reinhart, a Stages licensed medical aesthetician.
Stages' medical director Dr. Jian Wei says clients are sent home with all details needed for the best results possible. "You'll receive a printed and emailed copy of post-treatment home care. A client liaison follow ups after procedures to make sure patients are recovering well," she adds.
Dr. Wei says a full range of services are available: customized facials, dermaplaning, medical weight management, hydrafacials, chemical peels, customized skincare routines, microneedling/PRP treatments, laser hair removal, nonsurgical facelifts, injectables, feminine rejuvenation, intense pulsed light to treat pigmented and vascular lesions, as well as lash/brow options.
Especially popular is Stages' Empower treatment, shares Adrienne, which involves a device with different modalities to assist women who are experiencing changes due to age, hormones, pregnancy, childbirth or menopause. With this device, she says they also treat common, post-pregnancy conditions. "We're proud to offer Williamson County’s first Empower Women’s Health Platform."
Appointments may be booked online, by phone or text.
Adrienne's philosophy is that skin health is multifaceted and thoughtfully created one step at a time. She began her nursing career at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a critical care cardiac registered nurse, then graduated with her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2012. She says she provided care in a variety of settings, including primary care, urgent care, medical spas, and concierge aesthetics, and her combined passion, education and expertise now fuels care at the studio.
