Just last month, Advanced Dental Health welcomed Dr. Richard Sinn, D.M.D., to help bolster their practice’s dental surgery offerings.
“I believe in a beneficial relationship with patients where we complement one another,” Dr. Sinn explains. “I know many patients are nervous about dental surgery—but surgery is actually my passion, so I do my best to make sure they are comfortable and as stress- and anxiety-free as possible.”
A graduate of nearby Midwestern University, among other educational accolades, Dr. Sinn specializes in dental surgery, with extensive research done in implants. He says that his goal is to create a low pressure, low stress environment for patients. “And if at all possible, I want to make them laugh,” he says.
He adds that his motivation is treating each patient like he would a family member. “It sounds simple, but often coming to the dentist—especially for surgery—can be anxiety-inducing, so I strive to treat patients how I would want myself or my parents to be treated,” he says. “Essentially, the ‘golden rule’ always applies.”
Dr. Sinn’s dental passions are working with students (he teaches!) and restorative dental surgery. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, staying active, sports, and frequenting local dog parks with his furry companion, Chunk.
