Bentley also believes every man should invest in three things this summer: a solid pair of shorts, shoes that aren’t flip-flops, and a great pair of sunglasses. Regardless of the season, he finds that owning a good pair of dark-wash denim, quality loafers, and a fitted navy blazer can take you a long way… and all three of these items perfectly pair with a t-shirt, dress shirt, or polo, completing your look and looking good while doing it.
“It’s all about the little accessories, you could be wearing shorts and a white t-shirt, but throw some sunglasses and cool shoes on, and you’re cooler than half the people there,” Bentley shares. “My favorite part about being a personal stylist is seeing the change in clients’ lives… I also like using my status to help local boutiques, designers, and brands, such as FRAE and Simon Says. Mark my words, in the next couple years, Nashville is going to be a menswear destination city!”
