Originating from SuckleBusters in Coppell, the award-winning spice named '1836' can take meat to new levels of Texan flavor flair. This seasoning serves as a rub and for sauces, inspired by the robust, authentic taste of The Lone Star State.

Its originators indicate it's "a testament to the art of barbecue, designed to create mouthwatering crusts, sealing in juices and delivering an explosion of taste in every bite."

Dan and Cheryl Arnold own SuckleBusters. The product's packaging states 1836 is a family favorite recipe that uses the same basic ingredients available when their family settled in Texas during the mid-1800s.

In 1836, Texas history was shaped by the Texas Revolution, culminating with Texas declaring independence from Mexico. Key events included the Battle of the Alamo, the Battle of San Jacinto and the establishment of the Republic of Texas.
