Spring Break Bucket List

If you’re staying in town for Spring Break, look no further for local kid-friendly activities.

Spring Break for many means family travel – think Disney World, the Grand Canyon, or trekking it across the Lone Star State to visit far-flung family and friends. Unfortunately, trips might not be an option this year (again) due to so many uncertainties, be it plane tickets or pandemic. Luckily for Park Cities residents, there is no shortage of entertainment stopping through the Dallas area. From interactive learning activities to crowd-pleasing showstoppers to nothing more than the good old outdoors, there is something in town for every kid to enjoy.

Dallas Blooms: Birds in Paradise

The Dallas Zoo teamed up with the Dallas Arboretum to showcase real-life parrots and other wild birds for specific days throughout the Spring at this tropical exhibit. Check the calendar for animal details, but expect larger-than-life peacock topiaries and half a million flowers, like tulips and cherry blossom trees, no matter when you visit.
