When contemplating a fresh fitness routine for 2026, it's important to incorporate varied exercises that include strength training, as well as jump training for cardio, assures Lauren Ziel, barre3 Newtown owner and instructor. "Many are not looking for just another workout; they're searching for something deeper. A way to move that strengthens their bodies, honors their intuition and lets them feel more like themselves. At barre3, we’re here to support everyone in building fitness routines that leave them feeling alive, aligned and energized — every day," she explains.
She says barre3 classes are designed to build strength in body and mind through slow, intentional movements, so they incorporate heavier weights and resistance bands. "And our cardio classes are energizing, total-body workouts that boost our moods, build aerobic fitness and increase stamina."
She adds that some of their classes are breath-driven to improve mobility and increase stability, while promoting active recovery and fostering harmony in the body.
Specifically, this Newtown fitness team provides the following classes:
- barre3 Signature 60 is the class that started it all. Designed for muscular endurance, this efficient and effective workout combines strength, cardio and mindfulness. It’s a full-body workout designed to leave clients feeling balanced and successful.
- b3 Strength 45 is designed to build strength in bodies and minds through slow, intentional movements with heavy weights and resistance. Participants feel stronger and reap the benefits of strength training in everyday life, from increased longevity to improved bone density and mental resilience.
- b3 Cardio 45 is energizing and fun! This class boosts moods and aerobic fitness, as well as builds stamina through large-range, functional moves. With the optional jump training incorporated into the b3 Cardio class, the explosive movements are designed to stimulate bone growth, a critical factor in longevity and the healthy aging process.
- b3 Mindful Flow 45 is a dynamic and breath-driven practice to improve mobility and increase stability, while promoting active recovery and fostering harmony in the body.
As a Bucks County native, Lauren opened the first Pennsylvania barre3 studio in Newtown during 2013. She says barre3's science-backed approach meets clients where they are and pushes them "to their edges," giving them layers and modifications for every move.
"Together, we help clients build sustainable and holistic routines that they can maintain and even love, creating change from the inside out all yearlong. Taught by an incredible team of expertly trained instructors, our four class types offer variety in movement and challenge, training our bodies to build real strength, mobility and longevity," she states.
"Now in our thirteenth year in business, our little studio continues to grow and attract new clients by offering variety, challenge, community and fun."
Lauren says the classes are designed to stand on their own or work together to create strong bodies and minds, inside and out. With more than 40 classes per week, they offer classes throughout the day to fit various schedules, starting at 6 a.m.
She adds that they currently have a new client special offering referenced as '3 for $33' for which those interested can take three classes in one week to start building their new fitness journeys.
