Still Hill Country Strong

Along with Independence Day festivities, the Hill Country will pause to remember.

One year ago, the destructive floods along the Guadalupe River forever changed Kerr County. Yet, amidst the profound tragedy of that historic deluge, the true character of the Texas Hill Country emerged. Neighbors became heroes, and an outpouring of mutual aid defined our response. As we pause this year to remember the lives lost, we also honor the enduring spirit of a community that continues to heal, rebuild, and stand together.
