Abigail Finley has been awarded the title of Allen Student of the Month. Born in Naperville, Illinois, Abigail later moved to Allen, Texas, where she is currently completing her senior year as a homeschooled student. Homeschooling has provided her with flexibility and learning opportunities aligned with her passions.
Abigail's interests span Studio Ghibli films, Hamilton's melodies, and diverse musical artists such as Stray Kids and Laufey. She enjoys action, fantasy, and sci-fi literature, appreciates Asian cuisine, and explores botanical flavors. With a passion for horsemanship, Abigail is a part of the Tejas Riders, mentoring Girl Scouts in horsemanship and fostering camaraderie.
An ambassador-level Girl Scout and an eight-year Super Seller, Abigail has consistently sold over 1,200 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies each year, achieving a record of 4,500 boxes last year.
Upon completing her senior year, Ms. Finley plans to obtain her G.E.D. and attend Colorado State University, where she is interested in studying equine sciences, horticulture, or food sciences.
