When celebrity jeweler Jacqueline Dadanian and Taylor Maldonado met, they had no idea that it would be fate.
For more than 25 years, Dadanian has been an in-demand jeweler, creating stunning, edgy pieces that draw high-end clients and celebrities alike under her brand JN Jewels. Her custom designs—which have included everything from bold rings, bracelets and necklaces to diamond shoes, belts, bras and body chains—have been spotted on Jennifer Lopez, Bebe Rexha, Sofia Vergara, Jessie James Decker, Jason and Brittany Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, and many baseball and basketball stars, as well as on the red carpet at the Country Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, Academy Awards and Golden Globes.
“My husband and I fell in love with [Jacqueline’s] designs,” Maldonado explains. “That’s when we became clients of hers.”
The two quickly also became fast friends, and Maldonado, who had always loved jewelry, began designing some of the pieces for herself and her husband.
“Taylor had such a good eye for more of the daintier pieces,” Dadanian says. “She’s one of the best I’ve ever seen. She has an innate design eye.”
Realizing they made a perfect team, and inspired by the women around them, the two soon decided to join together to launch a line that was effortless, chic, and perfect for everyday wear.
And so, Voski by JN was born.
The collection departs from Dadanian’s signature bold pieces and includes daintier items, offered at lower price points. In fact, the collection, which includes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, pendants and rings made of pure gold and often adorned with diamonds, ranges from approximately $400-$3,000.
Many of the designs are influenced by Maldonado’s thirst for travel and adventure. Her love of water and the ocean inspired the curves, and since sailing can be navigated by the stars, her love of boats and sailing inspired the star and moon creations.
“The pieces are dainty and timeless,” Dadanian says.
