Stunning Seattle

Make the Four Seasons your home on the coast

Picture yourself in Seattle. The deep-blue waters framed by lush evergreen forests and seafood for miles will make you feel like you’re in another world. You’ll want to visit the Seattle Aquarium, Museum of Pop Culture, Woodland Park Zoo, Chihuly Garden and Glass, the epic Space Needle and hop on a harbor cruise. Food tours, day trips to Snoqualmie Falls or Mt. Rainier, and a tasty visit to Pike Place Market are musts. Staying at a central hotel is key and the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle keeps you close to the heart of the city, while wrapping you quietly in the elevated warmth that the brand is known for.

The hotel offers sleek, modern interiors crafted of wood and stone – bringing the outdoors inside. Seattle artwork showcases the city’s creativity, while floor-to-ceiling windows present panoramas of Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, the city skyline, and Olympic Mountain peaks. For relaxation, the Spa’s grotto-like eight treatment rooms capture the serenity of nature; and the rooftop terrace features the city’s only outdoor infinity-edge swimming pool. At Goldfinch Tavern, a partnership with local chef and restaurateur Ethan Stowell, dining celebrates simply prepared dishes featuring the freshest Pacific Northwest ingredients by Executive Chef Michael Grande.

Outside the gorgeous hotel, a highlight of our visit was eating our way through Pike Place Market, just a few blocks from the Four Seasons. We shopped for salmon and clam chowder to take home. We chose our full-size fish and watched it being filleted and packed for shipping - something to look forward to upon our reluctant return home.

After busy days of touring this vibrant city, it was a pleasure to return to the hotel, sit by the pool next to a fireplace and watch The Seattle Great Wheel, a 53-meter tall giant ferris wheel at Pier 57 on Elliott Bay.

Dining at the hotel was another memorable experience. New seasonal dishes from Chef Michael include a bone-in pork chop from Tails & Trotter Farms, the region’s signature pork producer, using pigs finished on local hazelnuts; a burrata with fermented butternut squash and roasted delicata squash; and a grilled octopus with salt-roasted marble potatoes, grilled artichokes and olives.
