It all started with a missed invitation.
“I got left out of a golf outing—not because they were being rude, but because they assumed I didn’t golf,” says Jennifer Clyde, co-founder and CEO of Fore All, a women’s golf clothing brand rooted in style, inclusivity, and fun. “That moment made me realize: if I’m going to be in business, I need to learn how to golf.”
What followed was a journey—equal parts friendship, fashion, and frustration. Jennifer and her longtime friend Michelle Money, who was also learning to golf, quickly noticed the lack of stylish options available to women. “I walked into a golf shop and found one sad rack in the back. It was like, has it always been this bad for women?” Jennifer recalls. “It was devastating.”
Instead of walking away, they built a brand.
Their first Instagram video—laughing through bad swings and bonding over the game—went viral. “We weren’t pretending to be great. We were having fun. And it hit a nerve,” Jennifer says. From there, they hosted sold-out events across North America before officially launching Fore All in Spring 2023.
Unlike most apparel lines, Fore All was built with its audience. “We had a community before we had a product,” Jennifer explains. “We asked what women wanted—pants that hold you in, skirts that don’t ride up—and that feedback shaped our line.”
The brand’s tagline, Golfing Optional, captures its essence. “You don’t even have to golf to wear our clothes,” Jennifer says. “You can wear them to brunch, to work, or out running errands. It’s about confidence and connection—on or off the course.”
That ethos runs through everything they design. “As a former fashion stylist, I’ve dressed every body type imaginable,” she says. “Women want to feel confident, no matter their age, shape, or skill level.”
And while Jennifer admits her own golf game has taken a back seat—“Honestly, I’ve gotten worse!”—her passion for the sport, and what it can bring to women’s lives, hasn’t faded. “Golf gives you uninterrupted time with your kids. It gets you outdoors and off your phone. It’s not just about the swing—it’s about connection.”
With a new fall collection hitting stores, featuring warm merlot tones and Fore All’s signature green, Jennifer hopes more women give the game, and themselves, a chance.
“Try it,” she says. “Not for your husband, not for anyone else. Try it for you,” Jennifer adds. “Golf has a way of surprising you. It connects you to nature, to others, and even to parts of yourself you didn’t know you were missing.”
