Huntington Learning Center Broken Arrow has provided supplemental education through private tutoring for students from preschool, K-12, and college prep since 2011. Cindy Snodgrass, Center Director, and her business partner, Mike Lingo owned the Tulsa Huntington since 2014. In 2021, they merged the Tulsa and Broken Arrow Centers together. Services for K-12 are in reading, writing, math, vocabulary, spelling, study skills, phonics, homework help, ACT/SAT, GED, and ASVAB.
Speaking with Cindy it’s evident she and her staff live by the philosophy, every child can learn. “We take each student where they are and get them where they need to be. No student is the same. Our individualized programs are tailored to meet each student’s needs.”
A former reading specialist, and language arts teacher herself, Cindy’s staff of tutors are certified and college-educated, many holding teaching certificates and master’s degrees. “When I was young I knew what it was like to struggle as a student. I was an avid reader, but couldn’t make sense of math and it negatively impacted my entire school career. Huntington Learning Center Broken Arrow has one-on-one tutoring during the day, after school, and on Saturdays. Closed on Sunday. Students come for homework assistance, after school one or more times a week beginning in grade 6.
