Have you ever been stopped at a red light, looked to your left, and eyed a young driver meticulously flossing her teeth? Then you’ve likely spied Lindsay- Doctor Lindsay Compton in fact, a guilty lover of sweets and an even guiltier lover of her practice in dentistry.
Treating patients like family is what drives Lindsay’s habits. The dental setting and experience she had as a child growing up taught her much about the whole body wellness she now highlights in her own practice. It also sealed for Lindsay the belief that ...the relationships we form and cultivate throughout our lives are what really matters.
“I love being a dentist,” says Dr. Compton. She recognizes she spends more time with her team and her patients than anyone else. “So why not treat your patients like family?” This philosophy invites humans from all walks of life through the doors of Generations Dental, and with her pearly whites, they are all greeted and graciously cared for.
Though Lindsay ironically thinks of herself as more of an introvert and rejuvenates through an early morning run, she is fulfilled to the brim when spending time with her husband and fur babies, both of whom lead very active lifestyles. Paddleboarding on a local lake, kayaking, fishing, hiking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing are just a few activities that Lindsay and the family enjoy. (And yes, “The dogs go everywhere with us.”) The Comptons cherish their Midwest roots and spend time at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri every year. Even the dogs look forward to the vacations: “They are absolutely spoiled. They go kayaking, fly in the plane, and are fantastic little hikers.”
