As we enjoy the summer with all its sunshine and heat, one of the most pleasant things we can do is enjoy a refreshing drink. We found some delightfully crafted cocktails right in the neighborhood at Bella Vita at The District in Henderson.
Bella Vita is an intimate yet relaxed friends and family dinning space that is known for its authentic imported and flavorful Italian food made from scratch. As night falls, this welcoming restaurant delivers craft cocktails.
One such cocktail is the Bella Donna with Stoli Razz, elderflower, lemon, raspberry puree, egg white, and a flower petal. Another is the Montegrande with Bulleit Bourbon, Gran Marnier, lemon, simple syrup, and basil.
But, our favorite was the Giovanna Fresca made with Hendricks gin, muddled cucumber and mint, fresh sour, and house made simple syrup. It is perfectly shaken and strained over ice, then topped with a cucumber wheel and a mint leaf. A final touch of fresh cracked black pepper gets added right in front of you for the full sensory experience.
