Whether you’re mixing up cocktails for a couple of friends, planning a full-on summer soiree, or just want to treat yourself on a hot Texas afternoon, it’s nice to have some delicious drink recipes on hand.
For this issue we chose a couple menu favorites to order when out, and one from Frankly’s Organic Vodka, a wellness shot-inspired spirit with inventive flavors made from real fruits, roots and botanitcals.
LA SANDIA MENTA
At Idle Hands
Sip this simple spirited refresher while people watching on Rainy Street, or make it at home.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Deep Eddy Original Vodka
2 oz watermelon juice
½ oz Naranja Orange Liqueur
½ oz simple
¾ oz lime juice
Sparkling Water
Mint spring
DIRECTIONS
Pour everything except the sparkling water and mint spring into a shaker
Shake
Strain into Collins glass with cubed ice
Top with sparkling water
Garnish with mint sprig
RIDE OR DIE

It was hard to choose between sharing this one or their Frozen Cherry Limeade, but we went with the Ride or Die – a little sweet and a little spicy. A perfect summer, cocktail.
INGREDIENTS:
1.5oz Habanero-Infused tequila
.5oz Lime Juice
.5oz Agave
.25oz Mango Purée
DIRECTIONS:
Add all ingredients to a shaker.
Shake well and serve over ice.
Garnish with Chile salt rim and lime wheel.
FRANKLY’S SALTY DOG
When it’s a warm afternoon and we can’t decide if we want to reach for a healthy juice or take a take a ‘summer Friday’ and jump into happy hour, we often reach for Frankly’s Organic Vodka and mix it with our favorite fresh juices. Compromise.
INGREDIENTS
½ Kosher Salt
Zest from 1 lime
2 oz Frankly Grapefruit Organic Vodka
Pinch of Cinnamon
½ oz fresh lime juice
4oz sparkling grapefruit juice
DIRECTIONS:
Blend salt and zest.
Smear lime on rim of glass and dip in salt
Mix ingredients in glass, stir and garnish with a grapefruit slice.
