How do you serve your community?

I have worked on the American Red Cross local chapter for several years, chairing various committees such as the live auction and journal.  I’m also on the board of TLC Sweet Souls Animal Rescue and help with adoption events and fostering. We often do collections for leashes, harnesses, food bowls, and crates that pet owners are no longer using. Lastly, I am part of the Gathering Committee at Christ Church, where I was married in 1990 and taught Sunday school. It is a pleasure to be back there as a member once again.

Tell us about a hidden gem in town?

The Bruce Museum is one of Greenwich’s phenomenal assets and it has a fantastic committee that keeps the museum up-to-date and interesting. The Greenwich Botanical Center located in the Montgomery Pinetum Park, as well as some of our nurseries, give classes on flower-arranging and wreath-making, in addition to holding events at their locations to celebrate the various holidays. Adopt-A-Dog’s Puttin' On The Dog sponsored by Pet Pantry Warehouse is a fundraiser at Roger Sherwin Baldwin Park not to be missed!

What do you love about living in Greenwich?

I was born and raised in Manhattan, and love the proximity of Greenwich when you want to have a day in the city. Greenwich is a beautiful town filled with dynamic, and athletic people who have come to reside here from all different parts of the world.
