With Valentine’s Day fast approaching and dinner reservations on the horizon, couples across Arvada are already brainstorming what their day of romance will hold. From us to you, we’re pulling a tried and true recommendation: The Butchery, a local favorite for young couples, parents, and long-time regulars alike. If you’ve never been, their outstanding service, premium steak selection, and extensive wine menu truly highlight The Butchery as “a cut above the rest.”

The steakhouse is hosting a three-day event on February 11th, 12th, and 14th inclusive of a holiday menu, specialty handcrafted cocktails, and romantic table settings lined with eye-catching candles and flowers.. A specialty strawberry shortcake martini, alongside their classic raspberry lemon drop and popular smoked bourbon old fashioned, will be served by bar manager and mixologist Vernon Johnson. To truly impress your better half, consult the team of professional servers on the best wines to pair with your meals - the establishment flaunts an award-winning wine list with imports from around the world, with each pairing nicely with entrée selections. Vernon also has a list of delectable after dinner cordials for your pleasure, which go nicely with The Butchery’s specialty in-house cheesecakes.

Now, for the entrées you’ve been waiting for; A combination of regular menu items and specialty dishes will be up for grabs, including a slow-roasted prime rib, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, succulent bison, lamb chops, jumbo sea scallops, and mouthwatering Maine lobster tails. Chat with Vernon and pair one with a suggested white or red for a meal worthy of applause!
