Sweet Dreams

We're all aflutter for these out-of-the-box Valentine confections.

According to Mandy Tamborini, dreams taste like cotton candy. She’s been making dreams come true since 2016 when she launched Spun Sugar Detroit — the first mobile cotton candy business. Now headquartered in a magical shop in South Lyon (with delivery service to Metro Detroit and products sold at the Detroit Shoppe at Somerset Collection and Woodward Corner Market in Royal Oak), she offers her sweet confections in more than 50 flavors  — including chocolate cherry, champagne, peaches ‘n’ creams and more — in the form of Valentine pops, colorful jars, layered “cake” and champagne glitter bombs (that change the color of your drink). It’s the stuff of dreams. Spunsugardetroit.com.
