When NBC5 anchor Laura Harris Means and business leader Patrick Means learned to play the violin as children, neither could have dreamed that their love of classical music would eventually provide a connection to their life partner. The couple had one of their first dates at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and married at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in December 2023. The pair will chair the DSO’s 2024 Gala featuring the DSO and acclaimed pianist Lang Lang on Saturday, September 28 at the Meyerson.
