Tee Up For the Troops

Serving Those Who Have Served Us

Tee Up For The Troops was born from a profound desire to serve those who have bravely defended our nation. In its inaugural golf tournament last year, the organization exceeded its initial fundraising goal of $10,000 and raised over $50,000. Their chosen organization for the year, Wheelchairs for Warriors.  This collaboration directly benefited Mikey Torres, a Chief Warrant Officer who was medically retired after a life-altering incident that left him wheelchair-bound.

Despite the challenges he faced, Mikey's spirit remained unbroken. Tee Up For The Troops stepped in to bless him and his family by providing not just one, but two wheelchairs—one for everyday use and another designed for sports. With over 20 years of dedicated service and a commendable list of accolades throughout his military career, Mikey's journey is a testament to resilience and strength.

As the organization gears up for its annual event this year, there is an air of optimism about the potential to further serve veterans and their families. Mikey and his loved ones have adapted to navigating life in a new way, and Tee Up For The Troops understands that the sacrifices made by these families are profound. Each story of service is unique, and the organization's commitment to honoring these sacrifices drives them forward.

With each swing on the golf course, participants not only enjoy a day of camaraderie but also contribute to a meaningful cause that makes a tangible difference in the lives of veterans. Tee Up For The Troops continues to pave the way for greater support and empowerment for those who have given so much for our freedom.
