During this season of Thanksgiving, I want to recognize the people who have helped build our first issue.

The sponsors featured throughout are our first partners and, in turn, the foundation of River City Lifestyle.

Next up, my local team: Our innovative editor Lindsey Tonkin; photography editor extraordinaire Sarah Bell; publication director Jeannie Tabor and market area coordinator Kim Lowrance, who have both taken on a range of tasks including the launch party; and Amy Golden, writer and creative consultant.

Thank you to Sawyer David Schafbuch, who manages our digital component, CityLifestyle.com/RiverCity, and to writer Julie Brown Patton for her experienced advice. And at the corporate level, we are supported by an ingenious crew of administrators and designers.

Finally, our riverside Thanksgiving table, shown here and on the cover, was set by talented, local creatives: Floral designer Kevin Coble of Le Fleur, Austin Varner of Varner Macaskill Interiors, Carter Wolfe of WolfePack Designer Services, Cheesemonger Kurt of Greys Fine Cheese and Entertaining, and stylist Matt Gossett.

A sincere thank you to the builders of River City Lifestyle.
