Local Options For Thanksgiving Foods to Go or Dine-in

If you're looking to spend less time in the kitchen this Thanksgiving and more time enjoying family and friends the West Hartford area offer plenty of options to help you prepare your Thanksgiving Day feast.

Delicacy Catering

For a complete Thanksgiving meal at home, Delicacy Catering, at 774 Farmington Ave., traditionally offers several Thanksgiving packages. Its holiday menu includes whole roasted turkey with gravy, green beans, creamed spinach, roasted butternut squash, mashed Yukon potatoes, herb stuffing, cranberry-orange sauce and brioche rolls. A variety of traditional Thanksgiving desserts are also available.

Café Louise, at 1156 New Britain Ave., is another longtime West Hartford option for Thanksgiving takeout. The company has previously offered Thanksgiving packages ranging from meals for smaller gatherings to larger family celebrations, along with turkey, gravy, sides, appetizers and desserts.

Le Mazet,  975 Farmington Ave., offers both Thanksgiving Day dining-in and take-home meals. In 2025, the French restaurant offered three Thanksgiving Day seatings and a catered Thanksgiving meal for four to five people, with pickup the day before the holiday.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 44 South Main St., which will be open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., will offer its regular dining experience along with Thanksgiving holiday options, making it possible to enjoy a traditional meal without giving up the option of ordering from a restaurant known for steaks and seafood. Fleming’s has offered Thanksgiving dining in West Hartford in previous years as well.

For diners looking for a more traditional Thanksgiving experience, the holiday menu typically includes turkey and classic seasonal accompaniments, while other entrée choices provide alternatives for guests who aren't looking for turkey. Reservations are recommended, particularly for larger family gatherings and popular midday dining times.

Artisan Restaurant, located at the Delamar West Hartford, is also a Thanksgiving dining destination. Its holiday menu has featured a three-course dinner with choices such as apple cider-brined turkey with stuffing and traditional sides, pumpkin ravioli and salmon. In 2025, the Thanksgiving dinner was offered at both Artisan's West Hartford and Southport locations.
