The 2019 Land Cruiser is best known for its capability, comfort and class. When I was invited to drive this vehicle it was an easy task, as it’s size and usability with seating for eight was perfect for my family of six. With a retractable fold-away third row, the Land Cruiser is perfect for a family, large or small, allowing for extra cargo or seating. When third- and second-row seats are folded you have 81.7 cubic feet of cargo space!
From the inside, the 2019 Land Cruiser is quite comfortable, including seating for eight with perforated leather trim seats with heat and ventilation capabilities. It lacks no modern conveniences such as the 9-inch high-resolution touch screen controls for the auto 4-zone climate control with air filter, SiriusXM all access and Bluetooth and Siri steering wheel controls with 14 speakers, making for a great sound system. I also enjoyed the front seat, center console cooler box! It's perfect for any cool food or drink storage needs.
The Land Cruiser safety features include driver and front passenger advanced airbag system with knee airbags, plus second-row side airbags, roll-sensing side curtain airbags with cutoff switch (10 airbags total). The convenient multi-terrain front, side and rearview monitor plus pre-collision, pedestrian detection and land departure alerts make this very intuitive and prepare you for any quick and necessary stops.
This vehicle is fun to drive with the peppy 5.7L V8 engine, 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque and full-time 4WD, crawl control/off-road turn assist for any off-road situations. I would recommend the 2019 Land Cruiser for its comfort, seating/storage capacity and off-road ability which makes for a nicely rounded vehicle to suit anyone’s daily driving needs.
