Am I an Artist, or do I Just Like Art?

Michel Velazquez uncovers the artist in all of us

Throughout my career as an Artist, one of the most complicated things to understand is precisely being and believing that I am an Artist. (For example, as a Hispanic, before, I never understood the difference between a painter or painting to create art, but that is a part of another analysis.) That is why I would like to emphasize to all those who read this section, live or feel art in some way. A recommendation: practice it and learn how to truly channel the feeling that you have towards it. As an Artist I often cross paths with individuals who are overflowing with artistic talents and a handful of them seem uncertain on what to do with these “hobbies”. They enjoy it greatly and are not sure how to activate it completely and practice what it is they are truly passionate about. The most important thing is to identify your qualities and develop them. Not only in personal taste, but there are also ways to be compensated and make a little extra income. That will continue to support your passion. Remember that your qualities deserve to be seen by others and many more are waiting for that great artist who is still asleep. Believe in that talent make your own dreams a reality and feed that daily thought that tells you that you should try it.
