The Art of Bouncing Back

Darleen “Coach Dar” Santore Shares Her Winning Strategies

The Valley’s Darleen “Coach Dar” Santore specializes in helping people deal with life’s curveballs and setbacks—and shares her lessons in her new book, “The Art of Bouncing Back.”

What inspired you to write this book?

One thing we all know for sure is that adversity and challenges are a part of our life! But what I realized over the years as a board-certified occupational therapist and leadership advisor, and mental skills coach to CEOs, founders, and professional athletes, was that so many didn’t have the tools or knowledge or were ever taught how to not only handle adversity but bounce back from it! So, I felt it was time to share the same principles I use with them with the world.

How would you describe it?

It’s nine simple principles that help to equip you mentally and physically to not only bounce back but thrive and flow again. They ensure the obstacles and setbacks you face quickly morph into setups for your next success.

How will it impact readers?

You'll discover how to pour a strong emotional foundation, accept feedback (the right way), connect with your "Why-Power," and create your own bounce-back environment. Every chapter provides a blueprint that helps you learn more about yourself, so you can identify the exact pivot you need to push forward and cultivate the strength you need to handle future adversity better―and build the business, career, and life that allows you to thrive again!
