Long before "dopamine dressing" became a fashion buzzword, Anna Ferguson was living it.
Inspired by her grandmother, who first taught her to crochet before introducing her to a sewing machine at just four years old, Ferguson has spent a lifetime creating. Her passion eventually led her to earn a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Apparel Design from Georgia Southern University, but her mission has remained the same: helping people express themselves authentically.
For the creator behind OneLoveOneAnna, jewelry is more than an accessory, it's an invitation to embrace joy. While she launched her Etsy shop 13 years ago, today most of her business happens face-to-face at local markets and festivals, where she offers both one-of-a-kind custom creations and colorful designs inspired by her own creativity.
Her favorite part? Watching people of every generation discover something that makes them smile.
"Dopamine dressing is for people of all ages," she says. "I have families pass through my booth and the children, parents, and grandparents all find a score that they can't live without. It gives me so much joy to be able to cater to all ages and walks of life."
That joy is exactly what fuels her brand.
"When I wear my bright, happy things, it not only makes me smile, but it also brings a smile to the faces of others," Ferguson says. "People always stop me and say, 'Your outfit made me so happy.' That's a gift I can give myself and others at the same time."
Now, Ferguson is expanding beyond jewelry into another celebration of fearless self-expression with an upcoming collection of funky, inclusive kaftans featuring vintage sequins and vibrant details. She's also preparing to launch live sales through Whatnot, bringing her colorful creations to shoppers around the world.
Whether it's a pair of statement earrings or a bold new wardrobe staple, Ferguson hopes every piece gives someone permission to embrace their inner child, wear more color, and leave a little more happiness wherever they go.
