All ages can enjoy the experience. Your family’s adventure begins when the steam vintage train arrives in the station to pick you up and then sets off for the North Pole to pick up Santa.
First told in the award-winning book by Chris Van Allsburg, the story begins on Christmas Eve, when a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express, while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.
Favorite 1:
The Train Conductor punches all the passengers tickets. The children especially like this and find the experience exciting and fun. The train is buzzing with Christmas joy. The staff comes alive as they perform brilliantly during the entire 65 minute interactive experience.
Favorite 2:
Once onboard, the chefs will serve hot chocolate and a sweet treat and you will enjoy a reading of The Polar Express by your conductor. Dressing in your PJ's for the trip enhances the whole experience. It is recommended to also bring coats, gloves, hats, and anything else you want to stay warm. It can get cold in the North Pole.

As you arrive at the North Pole, Santa is standing waving and greeting everyone as you look through the windows. Once at the North Pole you will see an incredible light show set to holiday music. On the return trip to Durango, Santa will visit each coach and hand out the first gift of Christmas.
