Learn How To Support Environment Through Eco-Focused Beauty Products

Every little bit helps. You can start by taking a look at your beauty routine and finding ways to do less harm to the environment. Even if you’re not ready to commit to a zero-waste lifestyle just yet, it’s surprisingly easy to make small tweaks to your skin & hair.  We asked two of our favorite business owners, David Allen Salon and The Holistic Connection for some recommendations on how to have a more "eco friendly" beauty routine.

The Holistic Connection recommends their Bath Bomb, the Tri-Star Medical Full Spectrum Lotion & Skincare Set which includes a Cleanser & Exfoliator, Toner and Refresher, Nourisher & Moisturizer.  All include all natural CBD Hemp Seed Extract.

Stephanie, owner of David Allen Salon, loves Kevin.Murphy Products.  Her favorites include the Plumping Line, Young Again Oil and Maxi Wash.  Kevin.Murphy makes every effort to help and protect the environment by utilizing packaging that is recyclable or biodegradable. They use only natural ingredients from sustainable and renewable sources, and does no harm to the environment at all.

5 TIPS FOR A SUSTAINABLE AND ECO-FRIENDLY BEAUTY ROUTINE

  1. Look at the formulation’s ingredients--You can also seek brands using natural and organic ingredients in their formulations produced and packaged in an environmentally friendly way.
  2. Think eco-friendly when choosing your next beauty or personal care product--An excellent place to begin would be to consider changing products where you have less brand loyalty.
  3. Opt for multi-purpose products--Why not try a lip and cheek stain, or a powder foundation rather than using a separate foundation and powder. Use a combined foaming makeup remover and cleanser using water to save on wipes and cotton pads.
  4. Look for eco-friendly packaging--Ideally, shop for a beauty or personal care brand with environmentally friendly packaging, avoiding the use of plastic in particular.
  5. Be mindful of how much product you’re using--It’s so easy to overuse products.  Remember a small amount of product goes a long way!

The Holistic Connection - How does Tri-Star Medical's Process begin?

It all starts with our farms in rural Tennessee where our master growers cultivate high-potency hemp strains, free from pesticides and contaminants. We derive exceptional hemp flower for our extraction process from sustainable practices and horticulture expertise, not by using pesticides or GMOs. It’s our core belief that healthy plants grown naturally produce the most beneficial compounds for health and wellness.  Our plants and dedication to sustainability are the foundation of our entire process.  To learn more go to www.theholisticconnectiontn.com
