A new team brings a wave of energy to a city. With The Dallas PULSE, that energy feels even stronger. It’s part of who they are—built into their name and their focus. Their mission centers on sparking genuine excitement, and that presence will become real across North Texas starting January 10.

As Major League Volleyball’s newest franchise and the region’s first professional women’s volleyball team, The Dallas PULSE arrives at a moment when momentum around women’s sports has never been stronger. According to Deloitte’s 2025 Women in Sport report, women’s pro leagues are expected to bring in over $2 billion worldwide by 2026, a clear sign of how quickly women’s sports are growing. Dallas, with its powerhouse club programs, championship high school talent, and deeply invested volleyball families, was a natural fit for a team positioned to elevate the sport on a major-league stage.

“Dallas is known for passionate sports fans, and we can’t wait to bring that same energy courtside for professional women’s volleyball,” said Grady Raskin, Dallas PULSE CEO.

The Dallas PULSE will make its debut at Frisco’s Comerica Center, opening the season at home against Indy Ignite, the Indiana franchise. Fans can expect a courtside experience that’s lively, intense, and up close. With marquee matchups against San Diego, Omaha, Atlanta, Orlando, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Grand Rapids, the inaugural schedule promises high-caliber competition and plenty of reasons for fans to rally behind Dallas’ newest team.

Heading the team is Coach Shannon Winzer, an internationally respected coach known for developing elite athletes and building winning cultures. According to Grady, she steps into North Texas with a clear purpose: to shape a roster capable not only of competing, but of setting a standard for the league.

The excitement goes beyond the court. Bold, modern, and rooted in the city’s energy, The Dallas PULSE brand signals a new era for North Texas sports. Merchandise is now available, and sponsorship opportunities are open. Fans can reserve premium seating, including season, group, and suite options, before demand soars.

The team’s mission is bigger than the game. Led by a diverse, community-focused ownership group that includes several women, The Dallas PULSE is committed to supporting female athletes, creating more opportunities in professional sports, and reflecting the growth of women’s athletics across the country.

As the countdown to opening night continues, the organization is encouraging the community to get involved early, from social media engagement to youth clinics to upcoming fan events throughout DFW.

“We have 4 brand values that drive everything we do,” says Katrina Streiner, Vice President Marketing & Creative. “We play with heart, we advocate for women, we are Dallas proud, and we are ELECTRIC!”

The message is simple. This isn’t just another team. It’s a new chapter for volleyball in North Texas, and come January, the city won’t just watch. It will experience it. For more information, tickets and updates visit DallasPulseVB.com or follow @DallasPULSEVB.

“Volleyball has deep roots in Texas, and the PULSE represents the next evolution of that passion,” says Grady Raskin.
