Living in the Faith Frequency

Faith in motion, gratitude in practice, and peace found in the in-between.

When Amy Anfinson, a Positive Change Coach, Author of Blameless and host of Living in the Faith Frequency podcast, talks about transformation, her words come from experience—not theory. Through seasons of change, she’s learned that faith isn’t a feeling—it’s a frequency you live in.

Q: What experiences led you into life coaching?
A: I was first guided into coaching during a season of overwhelm and uncertainty. As a stay-at-home mom who had stepped away from a banking career, I felt anxious and disconnected from myself. Everything shifted when I saw a life coach transform someone’s life in 30 minutes. I felt it in my soul—this is what I’m meant to do. I hired a coach, my life changed, and I knew I wanted to bring that same transformation to others.

Q: You’ve walked through deep loss. How did that shape your view of gratitude?
A: When my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer and transitioned nine and a half months later, my world changed overnight. Two weeks before his diagnosis, I received a message about living in the faith frequency, and the phrase keep feeling blessed became my lifeline. Gratitude stopped being something I practiced—it became sacred. I’ve learned that faith and resilience grow strongest when you choose gratitude, even in the hardest moments.

Q: What does “interior gratitude” mean to you?
A: It’s like armor—it protects my energy, my authenticity, and how I show up in the world. It’s a daily choice to notice what’s going well, even when life feels messy. When you’re rooted in gratitude on the inside, peace follows—and the outside world begins to reflect it back.

Q: What did you discover when you paused your business?
A: I learned I genuinely liked who I had become. I didn’t need to be busy to be valuable. Presence—with my family, friends, and community—was more than enough. I also learned that receiving help with grace is just as sacred as giving.

Q: What inspired your podcast?
A: The message of faith frequency was something Jon and I lived by. After his passing, my friend LaurieAnn Garner encouraged me to share it. We began recording just a week after his celebration of life—raw, real, and full of perspective. My hope is that listeners learn to trust their unseen dreams, believe in their own guidance, and know they’re being led—even in the darkest moments

Q: For someone currently navigating loss or change, what simple truth would you want them to hold onto?
A: This won’t last forever—even if it feels like it will. You don’t have to rush your healing or explain your pain. You are still whole, even when everything feels scattered. There is life on the other side of this, and you will find it—one breath at a time. Ask for support when you need it. It’s a sign of strength, not weakness.

Because living in the faith frequency isn’t about avoiding the storms—it’s about finding stillness within them.
