A great outfit can make a statement and inspire confidence. But according to Jennifer Dodson, founder and owner of Haute Beauty Aesthetics in Fairview, true style begins long before someone opens their closet.

“Our body is our first outfit,” Dodson says. “We were born in that one, and we’ll die in it. No matter what we wear, if we look in the mirror and don’t like the way we look or don’t feel good in our own skin, we’re not going to feel good in what we’re wearing.”

For Dodson, helping people feel confident in that “first outfit” has become her life’s work.

A board-certified nurse practitioner, Dodson spent more than 20 years working in emergency medicine before discovering a passion for aesthetics in 2017. While she found emergency medicine rewarding, she was drawn to aesthetics after seeing the confidence boost her own treatments gave her.

Today, her practice focuses on confidence, wellness, and helping people feel like themselves again.

“It’s extremely rewarding to help somebody feel better than they did when they walked in the door,” she says. “Whether that’s with Botox, skin treatments, collagen stimulation, weight loss, or wellness therapies, helping someone regain confidence can truly change how they feel every day.”

Haute Beauty Aesthetics offers a range of services, including injectables like Botox, collagen injections, dermal fillers, hair restoration, and more; wellness services like weight loss and peptides; and skin rejuvenation services such as facials, Hydrafacial, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and more.

Hidden Within

Among the clinic’s most popular treatments is Botox, which Dodson says often serves as an introduction to aesthetics.

“If somebody is brand new to aesthetics and asks where to start, Botox is usually the biggest win,” she says. “When you soften forehead lines or crow’s feet and can even lift the brows a little, people simply look more rested and refreshed.”

The goal, she says, is not to erase every sign of aging. Instead, modern aesthetics increasingly focuses on supporting the body’s natural processes.

“I saw Jen today for Botox and filler,” said Charles Jordan in a Google review of the clinic. “Her work is precise and natural, exactly the look I wanted. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and takes pride in delivering beautiful, balanced results.”

One of the fastest-growing areas in aesthetics is collagen stimulation. Dodson describes collagen as a supportive net beneath the skin.

“As that net gets thinner and thinner, that’s where you start seeing sagging,” she says. “These collagen-stimulating treatments help regenerate some of what has been lost and get to the root of the problem.”

Unlike quick fixes, these treatments work gradually, encouraging the body to rebuild its own collagen over time.

“Once we restore that support, we’re really just maintaining it as people continue to age naturally,” Dodson says.

A Layered Approach

The emphasis on natural aging and long-term skin health extends beyond injectables.

At Haute Beauty Aesthetics, Dodson works alongside licensed esthetician Olivia, who focuses on the skin’s surface through treatments such as Hydrafacials, chemical peels, and microneedling.

“I always tell patients that Olivia takes care of everything on the top of the skin, the epidermis layer, and I take care of everything underneath,” Dodson says. “It’s really important to look at all layers of the skin.”

That comprehensive approach has become increasingly important as wellness treatments, including peptides, gain popularity.

Restoring the Body with Peptides

Peptides are currently one of the most talked-about topics in aesthetics and wellness, and something that sets Dodson apart as a provider is her measured approach. Unlike online providers, Dodson monitors patients on these medications to ensure patients’ health remains the top priority.

“I’m a very conservative provider,” she says. “I’m only going to offer a peptide if I feel confident that it’s a safe medication.”

Currently, Haute Beauty offers select peptides, such as NAD, often referred to as an anti-aging peptide; BPC-157, commonly used to support healing and reduce inflammation; and GLP-1s, commonly used to support weight loss.

“There are so many peptides out there,” Dodson says. “But I want to make sure what I’m prescribing is safe for my patients.”

That commitment to safety includes reviewing medical histories, discussing family histories, and carefully considering potential risks.

“These therapies need to be prescribed and followed by a medical provider,” she says. “There may be family histories or underlying conditions where someone needs to have a conversation about risks versus benefits.”

Creating Confidence

For Dodson, the ultimate goal is helping patients look refreshed, feel healthier, and regain confidence. Sometimes, the results are deeply emotional. And while fashion trends may change from season to season, confidence never goes out of style.

“We can all go shopping and buy amazing outfits,” Dodson says. “But if we don’t feel good about ourselves, we’re not going to feel we look our best.”
