Since 1912, the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce has worked with local government, education, private industry and a host of other agencies and organizations to improve the business environment and promote Frederick County as the premier community in which to live, work and do business.

As a member-based organization, the Chamber exists to support and advance the business community. Our members represent roughly 40,000 employees from hundreds of companies. By bringing all kinds of businesses and leaders to the table—the new, the established, the big, the small, the growing, the thriving, the innovative and the experimental—we build community, foster collaboration and promote opportunity for all.

Benefits of Membership: Networking, Skill Building, Advocacy, and Resources

Through membership, businesses and nonprofits of all sizes have the opportunity to build strong relationships, engage with powerful networks, influence community advancement priorities, pursue personal development goals and take advantage of exclusive resources, training and discounts.

A robust calendar of networking events and intensive trainings coupled with expansive resources for promotion, connection and leadership allows employees from every level of an organization to find benefit in their Chamber membership.

Strategic Initiatives: Making Frederick County Stronger

The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce develops strategic opportunities to promote prosperity and economic growth for the region. We do this through carefully considered public policy positions as well as industry and subject matter specific initiatives. These initiatives not only benefit the community at large, but also inspire involved Chamber members to become regional leaders in their industry.
